Photo Class

I had to post these shots!  They are photographs from the six week digital photography class I am teaching with a local homeschool group and students ranging from 8th to 11th grade.  The art teacher in me cheers when I see them post images like these on our class blog (despite the date stamp still on the bottom of some- hand on forehead!).  This hour and a half a week has been a fun time for me and I leave refreshed and excited from talking with these fun, smart students.  There are two weeks left so check out our class blog where the students post their work from the weekly assignments-  www.capturedlightclass.blogspot.com.

100th Post

A welcome visitor on our apple tree

Where does this 100th post find me?  I'm in the middle of the most beautiful and warm March.  I love, love, love this time of year.

366 Days

Days 365 and 366 of this little boy's life... One turn around the sun... Family coming over... Sharing big laughs and little giggles... Cake and ice cream... Mom learning that celebrating is not about pinterest-worthy decorations and a perfectly clean house... Watching sweet friends loving the little one... A icing covered chiweenie... Too much sugar... A very tired little boy with big one-year-old smiles... Praising God for this year and His amazing faithfulness.

Watching the Big Boys

Watching the big boys play soccer and wishing he could join them.  Slow down, kiddo.  Your turn will come.
