Rollin' With My Homies

Another Williams Family cycling outing...  This time our adventure took us from downtown Greenville to Furman, a roundtrip of about 12 miles.  It wasn't far for biking but my legs sure felt the workout from pulling the cart and a cute passenger.  Elijah was a little more comfortable on this trip and even fell asleep for the last couple of miles.

The trailer looks a lot like a Chinese rickshaw

Arrival

Little (5lbs. 7oz.) baby Evey arrived this week healthy and not in need of the NICU as many feared she might.  After issues with Type 1 diabetes, migraines, bed rest, and many fears my sister got to hold her very healthy little girl!  God does answer prayer!  Thank you to those who prayed for them!

Brooks and I got to enjoy her too!

Anticipation

After being told they could not have children, I felt great joy in helping to host a baby shower for my sister Ester and anticipating her miracle little girl Evey.

Grumpy Face

Taking a ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail last weekend with our bikes and a borrowed trailer (Thank you kind friends!).  Poor little guy was a good sport as long as we were moving and he got to hold his tennis ball.  Maybe a folded towel or little pillow behind him might help cure the uncomfortable looking grumpy face.  He IS awfully cute in that great big helmet.

Seventy-Five

My dad turned 75 this past week and we celebrated with a family party.  I absolutely love my dad!  He has been a great dad to his four girls and showed me in many ways the way my Heavenly Father loves me.  He talked to us about Jesus, prayed for us, loves my mom, and loves my son.  I am so grateful for him and glad to call him "Dad".

A Good Pillow

Elijah using my very pregnant sister Ester as his pillow while watching Youtube videos.  We are looking forward to meeting my niece (Evey) who now occupies this pillow and is supposed to arrive tomorrow!

Little Boys and a Big "NO!"

My sister and sweet nephew are in town this week to celebrate my dad's 75th birthday and to be home for the birth of my niece.  Liz and Nathanael came over one morning to play.  This was my first time seeing Elijah interact with kids after learning to say "no" and he liberally applied it anytime Nathanael picked up any of his toys.  Single child syndrome from a little sinner.  If you have any advice on teaching a child to share, please share it with me :)
