Valentimes.

How do you celebrate Valentines Day the Williams' way?

With a new vacuum.  Self-propelled on carpet and wheels that don't fall off.  Nothing says love like a Shark.
(and it really does.  A vacuum is just what I asked my sweet husband for.)

And heart-shaped food:
Pink pancakes in the morning

A gift-card for some TCBY

Heart-shaped pizza and pepperoni

And chocolate strawberries and heart cookies.

If anyone needs me, I'll be on the treadmill... or vacuuming.

On Top of the World...

...Or on top of the slide.  Aren't they the same thing sometimes?

Shiner, Again.

This sweet blessing of a boy has given me many firsts not the least of which is the first time someone called me mommy.  This week he also gave me my first black eye.  It wasn't while wrestling, or throwing a ball, or being crazy.  It was while we were napping.  He moved and his larger than average head (bless) hit me in the face.  It isn't anything a little makeup can't cover up (mostly) and I will gladly take a black eye or two if it means I get to love on this energetic and loving kid.  Well, not totally gladly but mostly.  Maybe I should wear safety goggles to bed.  I wouldn't trade one moment or memory with this boy.

Landscapes

I haven't posted any of my students' work this year but I could not help but put these up.

My 6-8th grade class finished landscape paintings this week from photographs they chose.  They mixed all of their colors using only red, blue, yellow, white and an occasional bit of black.

I don't think I could be prouder of the amazing group of kids!

TWO

So this sweet boy turned two today.  The thought of no more one year olds in our house is a bag of mixed emotions.  I may or may not have cried a whole lot  some when I put him to bed last night.  Praise God from whom all blessing flow for this precious blessing and every second of the two years we have had with him!
