Always make sure you have cool toys. You don't want to compete with the buttons on your parents' VCR for her attention.
Let her play with the coolest toys. She has better motor skills than you and she will always win anyway.

(Emma was actually wonderful with Elijah and willingly shared the cool toy she brought. Thank you John and Hannah for bringing Emma with hang out with Elijah. She really was so fun and a joy!)
Dudes
Sometimes dudes are a little easier to handle. Especially when you have the two month and seven pound advantage. Our new friend Miles taught Elijah about hanging out with dudes this weekend in Falls Park.
Hanging out with the dudes requires sharp duds. These dudes have sharp duds.
Dudes need to establish personal space. Not too close, Dude.
Dudes should not poke each other in the eye. We don't blind our friends.
Dudes are never too cool to hang out with their moms.
