Have you met our dog? The crazy barking, fourteen pound, co-dependent, high-anxiety, very loveable chiweenie? I probably have done a poor job conditioning her to the big, wide world. Anything "different" scares her and makes her bark hysterically. "Different" would include anyone too tall, anyone too short, anyone on a bike, in a wheelchair, using crutches, anyone African American, and our sweet neighbor Ensley. Ziva most hated our friend Melody who lived up the street. One evening, Melody used her dog-taming super-powers to show this little dog who is boss and stopped her wild barking with a firm "NO!" Since then, Melody is Ziva's new best friend and the two will play together in the grass in our yard. I am not sure how she did it but it is amazing!
