So, I had a "I need to make sure my son hasn't forgotten everything he learned last year at school" moment this summer. However, while E enjoys some workbooks, he wanted nothing to do with the alphabet books. Writing his letters did not appeal to him at all... unless he can write them in shaving cream. We made it through most of the alphabet and then he spent a quiet 30 minutes just playing in the shaving cream with a monster truck.
