You had to know this post title was coming and here it is! Simon is fifteen months old and began walking about two weeks ago. It took him a while to get there but now he is walking like a champ. He is also delighting in communicating with us in words and signs. Some of his favorite words are shoe, fish, cat, doggie, Zee-Zee (our dog), milk, and yuck. He also signs "all done" and "more". It is fun seeing his personality revealed as his independence grows. He still loves Ziva and will give her a hug by laying his head on her and saying "Awwww..." She seems to have more patience with him than with Elijah. Anytime I am sitting on the floor, he pulls himself into my lap and flashes a sweet smile. Simon also enjoys teasing his big brother. He will run up to Elijah and steal whatever toy his is playing with and take off giggling. Sometimes this requires some parental intervention as it irritates his brother. I love learning about this silly, funny boy as he continues to grow and change.
